Terms and Conditions
Version 2026-09-09 · These terms apply to Faction Exchange, faction-exchange.rwarff.com, and faction advertisements posted through it.
1. Torn-only marketplace
Faction Exchange is an independent listing and communication service for the online game Torn. Listings may concern only Torn factions and permitted in-game consideration such as Torn dollars or Torn assets. Real-money sales, real-world payment, account sales and any transaction prohibited by Torn are not permitted.
Faction Exchange is not owned, operated, endorsed or guaranteed by Torn or Torn Ltd. Torn’s current rules and terms always apply. Users are responsible for checking and following them.
2. Faction Exchange is not part of the transaction
Faction Exchange and its operator, ANITABURN [2203192] (together, the “Operator”), provide advertising, search, verification snapshots, messaging features and contact links only. The Operator is not a buyer, seller, broker, agent, adviser, escrow provider, guarantor or party to any faction transaction.
All negotiations, payments, faction membership changes, trades, leadership transfers and final agreements occur directly between Torn users through Torn. Faction Exchange cannot compel either user to complete, reverse or refund a transaction.
3. Seller promises
By publishing a faction sale, the seller confirms that:
- they are the faction’s current leader or co-leader and are authorized to advertise it;
- the listing is truthful, current and not misleading;
- all prices, included assets, available respect, images, contact details and other statements are accurate;
- they have permission to use every image and piece of content they submit;
- they will promptly update, withdraw or mark the listing sold when its status changes; and
- their listing and conduct comply with Torn’s rules and all applicable requirements.
4. Buyer responsibility and disputes
Buyers and sellers must independently verify identity, authority, faction statistics, upgrades, assets, price and transaction steps before committing. API verification is a time-stamped snapshot, not a promise that information remains unchanged or that a user will act honestly.
Users transact at their own risk. Any disagreement, failed payment, incomplete transfer, misleading statement, scam allegation, loss of Torn dollars or assets, faction change, ban, sanction or other dispute is solely between the participating Torn users and, where appropriate, Torn staff.
5. Prohibited conduct
Users must not post fraudulent, unauthorized, duplicate, unlawful, abusive or misleading listings; impersonate another user; manipulate verification; upload harmful or infringing material; evade moderation; interfere with the service; or use Faction Exchange for real-money trading or any breach of Torn’s rules.
The Operator may remove content, suspend listings, restrict access, preserve moderation records or report suspected abuse to Torn staff when reasonably necessary.
6. No warranties
Faction Exchange is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator makes no guarantee about availability, accuracy, value, seller authority after verification, user conduct, transaction completion, fitness for a particular purpose or freedom from errors.
7. Limitation of responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator is not responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential or game-related loss arising from use of Faction Exchange or dealings between users, including loss of Torn dollars, items, faction ownership, respect, upgrades, membership or access. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
8. User responsibility to the Operator
A user is responsible for their listing, content, promises, conduct and transaction. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the user agrees to reimburse the Operator for reasonable losses, claims or costs caused by that user’s fraud, rule violation, unauthorized sale, submitted content or breach of these terms.
9. API keys and account access
Faction Exchange uses a custom restricted Torn API key to verify identity, faction position and faction data. Submitted API keys are not stored or logged and are discarded after verification. Users are responsible for controlling their Torn account and revoking a key through Torn if they believe it has been exposed.
Faction Exchange records an anonymous visit timestamp at most once per browser every 30 minutes to provide an aggregate visit count. The visit record contains no IP address, page history, form contents or persistent visitor identifier.
10. Changes and acceptance
The Operator may update these terms when the service or Torn’s rules change. A new acceptance may be required for future listings. The version accepted when a listing is created is recorded with that listing.
By checking the acceptance box and publishing a faction advertisement, the seller confirms they have read, understood and agreed to these terms.
